In this scene, Nephi laments to his brethren in the words of the Lord:
O that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments—then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea.
Some people can’t live a day without seeing the mountains. I grew up in a boating family and feeling water around me is very important to my well-being. It soothes my spirit. I constantly visit and think of the Hudson and East Rivers that flow around Manhattan in a gentle embrace. I want my ashes scattered in the Hudson.
Here I included a unicorn as a symbol of magic, purity, and a reference to my favorite childhood movie ‘The Last Unicorn’.
