I have been drawing doves in my work ever since high school. To me they represent the constant comforting presence of the Holy Ghost. I especially liked drawing them during my tough younger years. They are a reminder of what I have endured and of the peaceful times that followed. This image of interlocking birds is a celebration of all the doves that have been with me through the years.
Inspired by the quote from Sister Carol F. McConkie during the last Womens' Conference: "May our lives ever be a sacred offering that we may stand before the Lord in the beauty of his holiness."
Quote hand-written and dedicated by me on the back of the item.
